A synthetic peptide based on Thymosin Beta-4, a protein found naturally in almost every human and animal cell. First identified in the thymus gland, it has been studied for decades for its role in cell migration and tissue regeneration. What the research explores: actin-binding mechanisms that drive cell movement, angiogenesis and new blood vessel formation, and inflammatory signaling in tissue repair models. Much of the foundational research comes from wound healing and cardiac tissue studies. What it isn't: a substitute for medical treatment of any injury.
